We caught up with Hutch from the Thermals after their performance at Bumbershoot this year, and had a chance to chat about their newest album, their performance, and other stuff.

The first time I saw local singer-songwriter 
For all the media-hungry fans of John van Deusen and the Lonely Forest, I’ve got some fabulous video files! This is the Idiot Pilot interview part two, with both men… It is a rarity these days that you find well spoken people, but that is not the case with Idiot Pilot. Michael Harris and Daniel Anderson have to be two of the most well spoken individuals I have ever had the privilege to talk to. They know exactly what they want to say and how to say it. Yeah, the interview took a while, but through all of us moving to college, a computer crash, and general chaos, it’s here!
It never ceases to amaze me how wonderfully gracious our local bands are. I was extremely excited that I had the opportunity to interview Idiot Pilot, but unfortunately Michael was unable to be there. Still, I didn’t email them before the show, but being the nice guys they are, Daniel stuck around and made some time for a brief interview:
It never ceases to amaze me how nice people in bands can be. The Cops, though, have topped the list. For the first time in our lives, Alec-Rene and I were guest-listed. Yeah, thats right, they put us on the guest list ’cause we were coming to interview them. Pretty sweet, eh? Thanks guys! Anyways, we had a very cheery/zany interview. It took a while to get fully grouped and seated, so by the time we started actually interviewing, we felt at ease in our conversation. Here goes:
