Bloc Party 3/26 Easy Street Records & Neumo’s

Let me tell you all a story, because now that I have music a website, I can write scathing reviews. This afternoon, I went to see Bloc Party at Easy Street Records for their instore performance. About 10 minutes before they were supposed to play, the record store makes an announcement. His voice is strained, and while they will play tonight at Neumo’s, the will not be performing this afternoon, only signing records. MEH! So I’m ticked, and I go home. Later that night, Alec and I decide to go to the show at Neumo’s. We wait in the cold for an hour and when doors finally open, they sell out right in front of us. At this point, I was really ticked. Tegan and Sara 3/10 Crocodile Cafe

Alec has fantastic timing. I walked in at 1:02 AM last night to find all my mercurial sound info lined up, flashing away on my desktop. So here goes our first review!
Last night, I headed down to the Crocodile Cafe for one of their (rare) all-ages shows, to see Tegan and Sara, everyone’s favorite Canadian twin duo.

Zach was actually pretty excited to see the opening act, the Ditty Bops, and I guess I was too. Last summer they opened for the Dresden Dolls, and I missed their performance, but managed to get my hands on an official Ditty Bops sticker which has been in my room ever since. Zach actually had heard and liked the band.
